A search entered in a search box is passed to the third-party provider that powers that tool. The provider may receive the query and related technical data under its own policy. If a visitor sends a message, the site receives the submitted contact details and message contents. Pages link to LFUCG, Kentucky courts, KDOC, VINE, BOP, ICE, transit, and other outside systems. Those organizations collect and control data under their own notices. Leaving this site means their privacy terms apply. Kentucky open-record requests may themselves become agency records governed by the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, and any applicable exception or retention rule.
Security and Retention
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no web transmission or storage system can be promised completely secure. Do not submit Social Security numbers, full birth dates, account credentials, medical records, or documents containing sensitive identifiers. Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for operations, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security.
Children and Teenagers
This site is not directed to people under 18 and does not knowingly seek personal information from them. Juvenile custody information may also be confidential under Kentucky law. A parent or guardian who believes a minor supplied personal data may request review or deletion.
